Johnny Mac had one hit off of the Starter Wakefield, we only had three hits off of the Starter Wakefield today.

Johnny Mac had one of them. Hitting .258-259 now.

Gosh, another hit for sir Johnny Weak Stick, can we say hitting streak?

I notice an inordinate amount of runners that seem to get either thrown at home or trying to take an extra base that adversely affect Johnny Mac's RBI total.

He'd have at least two more RBI's in just the last week if the runenrs weren't slow or hadn't taken an extra base and been thrown out before Johnny Mac came up to bat.

Yawn, 3-4 with a homer last night. Johnny Mac led off the key rally inning with a single. Business as usual for the Macster.

Oh, and he can play defense.

    Part man, part lizard!

The Indians came right back in the fifth against Garland (10-11, 4.88). Bill Selby hit a leadoff homer. After Chris Magruder doubled, he moved to third on John McDonald's bunt single. McDonald, looking like a lizard on a hot rock, scampered the last 10 feet on all fours when he had to change directions on his headfirst dive to avoid a possible tag by Garland.

2-4 tonight for Johnny Weakstick. Now batting .271

He did leave a couple of runners on base, however, No GIDP's for Mr. Weakstick. On the other hand, Ellis Burks has helped us lose two games in a row with key GIDP's, and Magruder left five runners on base.

Sir WeakStick is turning out to be quite the steady player.

    CLEVELAND INDIANS REPORT
    Friday, September 13

You can't say enough about the play that Johnny Mac made to get the force out at home on the potential game-tying run in the 9th inning. On top of the split-second decision that recognized that doubling up the speedy Christian Guzman was not going to be possible, that throw on the move to home plate is not an easy play to make for a second baseman.

The jealousy from a few posters who refuse to acknowledge that Johnny Mac was a find is saddening. It doesn't matter who plays well, reporting good plays is part of the fun of a forum.

    Thumbs up

No jealousy at all but the point is Johnny weak stick is a career utilty infielder. His numbers offensively this year are absolutely pathetic! An OBA of 292, OPS of 616, 12 Ribbies in over 300 career AB"S, Josh Bard has as many Ribbies in his short career (12 In 86 AB"S) as Weak stick has in his entire career. Brandon Phillips is only 8 RIBBIES behind weak Stick Johnny in only less than one month of PT.Give it up Alexx you and Swanny have been proven wrong, Johnny Weak Stick is simply a utilty infielder in the Mike Fischlin mold! There are only two middle infielders in the AL with lower OPS than johnny puus bag: Abernathy and Perez! Again, Johnny weak Stick is nuthing but a utilty infielder but unfortunetely you and Swanny can't admit that I was right and You were wrong!

The Cleveland Indians situation was such that Johnny Mac at 500,000 a year was vastly superior to Ricky G at 4 million a year, and Ricky G's contract is backloaded the final two years.

The average payroll per player on the our team next year will be around 2.5 million. Johnny Mac at 1/2 million or even 1 million a year is a deal as it frees up money to resign Thome.
